I can't find any more info on the new 1.5 Earth Dreams from the Fit. Is it DOHC? What's the redline? I have so many unanswered questions right now that are just eating at me! >.<

Here's all you need to know - it isn't a fiesta ST. Therefore, you should get a fiesta ST instead of a fit.

If I had to guess I would say around 8k rpm....Knowing honda..
But I can not find anything that says for sure.

It depends on the configuration. If it was a K-series or B-series, the specific output would dictate 7K-ish. But the L-series is much more like the old D-series that didn't rev that high and it might still be SOHC.

From what I saw the engiens will be a SOHC so I would assume higher revving fun I mean earth saving technology.
All my hondas were high revving monsters. My B20 swapped Civic I think revved out just over 8k rpm.
My EF revved out at 8k
No pics of the EF but it was red, rotted and had pink wheels
This was my 95 Civic

It is DOHC, with both direct and indirect injection. No idea on the redline, but power peak is 130@6500, so the peak is probably no more than 7k.

The B series is DOHC, SOHC seems to limit the revs. Just look at the J-series.

Thank God. Hopefully Hondata will take notice of this one and put some effort into it.
Thanks!
